PepsiCo has reported a 5.2 percent increase in net revenue in its second-quarter results of $20.22 billion, compared with $19.22 billion recorded for the same period last year, as it updates its full-year outlook.
Ramon Laguarta, Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo, their business momentum continued despite ongoing macroeconomic and geopolitical volatility and higher levels of inflation across our markets.
He added that they now expect their full-year organic revenue to increase 10 percent from 8 percent.
In the meantime, PepsiCo reported organic revenue growth of 13% and an operating profit for Q2 of 2022 of $2.1 billion.
Net revenue for its PepsiCo Beverages North America division fell by 1%. The company's Frito-Lay North America division reported net revenue growth of 14% while Quaker Foods North America saw net revenue growth of 17%.
Latin America was the region of PepsiCo that experienced the greatest growth, with a 23 percent increase in net revenue.
