I conduct research in media studies, periodical culture, book history, film studies, queer studies, gender and sexuality studies. The main geopolitical area for my work is Germany/Central Europe. In addition to this research, I co-founded the scholarly collective "Diversity, Decolonization, and the German Curriculum," through which I do language advocacy work.
