GoPro Hero 8 Black is the company’s latest flagship camera, and even though it has only been in the market since October people can already purchase with a sizable discount. There is also one simple method to buy the 360-degree camera Hero MAX with the same discount.
GoPro Hero 8 Black deals
It usually takes around a year for tech products to be sold with a significant discount, typically when its successor is close to being released. While the GoPro Hero 9 camera is unlikely arriving until fall, the company has been offering a recurring promo for the GoPro Hero 8 Black.

GoPro’s most advanced camera has a regular retail price of $399.99, but it gets a $100 discount now and then. And the same promo has been reinstated as of this writing. With stay-at-home policies being eased up in several parts of the world, people might want to consider getting a new action camera to capture their post-quarantine adventures.
The $100 off promo comes with the basic bundle and a free two-day shipping offer. Aside from the typical box contents, it also ships with a free 32GB SD card.
Will the TradeUp bring the GoPro Hero 8 Black cost down to $199.99?
Some might be wondering if they can get the price cut up to $200 when they purchase the discounted GoPro Hero 8 Black under the TradeUp program. The latter allows customers to trade in any old digital camera, whatever the condition is, that was originally valued at $99.99 to get $100 off.
Buying under the TradeUp program while GoPro Hero 8 Black is on sale for $299.99 will not get the total purchase price down to $199.99, though. The said camera is priced at $299.99 on the TradeUp page and even on checkout.
However, the TradeUp offer is a good chance to get the Hero MAX with a $100 discount since the 360-degree does not have the same promo as GoPro Hero 8 Black right now. Any digital camera that had a market price of at least $99.99 will be accepted regardless if it is from GoPro or not. Unlike the GoPro Hero 8 Black sale, TradeUp appears to be a mainstay deal.
