Telegram has confirmed that its messaging app is once again available on Apple’s App Store after users briefly encountered an unexpected outage that removed the app listing. The company announced on Monday that the issue had been resolved, assuring users that access to the app would soon be fully restored across supported regions.
In a statement, Telegram said, “Telegram has been restored on the App Store and should soon be available again for all users.” The company did not provide further details about what caused the temporary disappearance or whether the issue stemmed from a technical error or another factor.
Earlier on Monday, users attempting to access Telegram through Apple’s App Store were met with a message stating, “The page you’re looking for can’t be found,” indicating that the app listing was unavailable. The unexpected removal quickly sparked questions among users who rely on Telegram for messaging, file sharing, and secure communication.
Although the app has now returned to the App Store, neither Telegram nor Apple has explained the reason behind the brief disruption. Apple has not responded to requests for comment outside its regular business hours, leaving the cause of the incident unclear.
The temporary removal appeared to be short-lived, with Telegram confirming that the app is once again accessible and should become available to all users as the restoration process is completed. Existing users who already had Telegram installed were not advised of any service interruptions, and the issue appeared to affect only the App Store listing.
Telegram remains one of the world's most popular messaging platforms, serving millions of users globally with encrypted messaging, voice and video calls, group chats, and file-sharing features. The swift restoration of the app is expected to ease concerns among users who depend on the platform for personal and business communications while awaiting further clarification from Apple or Telegram regarding the brief App Store disappearance.
