PALO ALTO, Calif., April 11, 2017 -- WFFConnect, the leading global community connecting women founders with global investment resources, successfully completed its introductory One-Day event in Silicon Valley. WFFConnect provides female founders with education, events and other resources needed to grow successful companies. In addition, members can connect with investors by utilizing the proprietary CONNECTIONS tool.
“The session caliber was remarkable. It was empowering to be able to converse with founders in similar situations to ours and hear directly from top tier venture firms and investment banks about how to successfully navigate the fundraising process,” said Trisha Bright, founder and CEO of an early stage social impact startup. “I gained valuable insights and a number of important new contacts that can help accelerate my entrepreneurial journey.”
The one-day events are aimed to provide an intense form of education, networking, and empowerment for female founders and leaders looking to scale their companies. The next one-day event will be held in Amsterdam at the offices of Deloitte on June 13, 2017. New York will follow on August 15, 2017 and will be hosted at Nasdaq Marketsite in Times Square.
“It was an invigorating day, and it was great to see so many of the conversations we have had behind the scenes come to life with this sold-out event.” Said Carine Schneider, WFFConnect Founder and CEO, “Events like this remind us that we are making difference in the life cycle of these companies. Female entrepreneurship will continue to improve the way society approaches business.”
