Fans are excited for “Money Heist” season 5 but unfortunately, this drama will be delayed just like the other TV shows. The whole world is trying to cope with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, and the battle against this disease is still ongoing.

Alex Pina’s update

With that said, it is easy to see why “Money Heist” season 5 will not be able to arrive soon. Filming is impossible at this time, and it was recently divulged that the story is still being written as well. This fact was revealed when the show’s creator Alex Pina updated his Instagram with what he has been doing these days.

On July 10, he posted a photo of himself while sitting on a hammock. He also has a laptop, and Pina wrote in the caption: “Escribiendo La Casa de Papel 5” which means “Writing ‘Money Heist 5.’”

It may take time for him to finish, so most probably filming for this much-awaited Netflix drama will not take place this year. With this schedule, then it will also be a long time before “Money Heist” season 5 could return.

Plot predictions and theories

This is a popular drama, and as everyone waits for the next installment, many of its viewers have come up with their own plot predictions and theories. Many of these suggestions sound correct

because of their meticulous analysis, but then, the final turnout of the story will still depend on how Alex Pina is writing the story. In any case, here are two shocking theories and predictions that could actually be right.

El Professor abandons the love of his life

It was predicted that El Professor will destroy his own relationship and end everything with Lisbon or also known as Raquel Murillo. They are lovers and seemingly have a very tight relationship, but Express reported that El professor will betray her.

Once he’s caught by the authorities, he will not care about Lisbon anymore, and this is because, the truth is - he is unable to feel real emotions. “Even though I know it’s special necessary for the character but he’s so emotionally closed off,” Alvaro Morte (El Professor) said in an interview while describing his character.

The lone survivor among the thieves

Another theory about “Money Heist” season 5 is all of the team members will not make it out alive in the Bank of Spain. Even El Professor will also die but there is one person who will survive and it’s Tokyo (Ursula Corbero).

The predictions that the team leader will die have been going around since season 4 ended but the suggestion about Tokyo’s survival is something new. Meanwhile, “Money Heist” season 5 may be released in late 2021 or early 2022.
