Dr Jill Stuart is an academic based at the London School of Economics. She is Executive Editor of the journal Space Policy.
Dr Stuart’s research focuses primarily on the politics, law, theory and governance of outer space. This ranges from the study of satellite regulations to the nature of state sovereignty for objects in space. She has secondary interests and expertise in the global commons more generally (the high seas and Antarctica). Her media work and publications reflect these interests, with recent activity out on the subject of outer space.
