I gained my PhD in 2006 for my work on the role of multinational companies during the decolonization process and the subsequent period of postcolonial economic nationalism in West Africa (Nigeria & Ghana). Since then I have had several funded research grants in this area and in my second line of research which looks at long-term processes of organizational change as well as how companies use the past to infuse values and emotions into the workplace.
