Couch’s practice includes advising banks and other financial institutions in regulatory and operational matters, compliance, and commercial lending transactions, and privately held companies in corporate, capital markets, and commercial transactions. His practice also includes counseling regional and community banks with respect to deposit operations, payment systems, treasury management products, consumer regulatory regimes, and new services offerings, including electronic and mobile banking. In addition, Couch regularly works with regulated and unregulated companies in vendor and technology transactions (including issues of data privacy and cybersecurity), mergers, and acquisitions.
