Falls Church, Virginia, May 16, 2017 -- Head lice infamously cause stress, disgust and embarrassment for millions of parents whose kids get infested each year. But thanks to the opening of a new Lice Clinics of America clinic, parents in the northern Virginia communities of Herndon and Falls Church no longer have to worry about treating the icky bugs themselves.

Lice Clinics of America – Northern Virginia (http://www.LiceRemovalNOVA.com) recently opened a new clinic in Falls Church to provide screening, diagnosis and treatment options for people infested with head lice. Both clinics are staffed by certified operators of the AirAllé device, an FDA-cleared medical device that kills head lice and lice eggs using just heated air.
This is the second clinic for owner Darlene LaFramboise, who also owns the Herndon clinic. “When my daughter got lice, I didn't handle it well,” Darlene said. “She had long curly hair and the thought of combing her night after night through her tears (and mine) made me panic.”
“When I looked at my options I was shocked at how little choice I had – to douse her in chemicals or pay astronomical amounts to have someone pick through her hair. When I found the AirAllé technology and I knew it was the right choice for my busy family.”
Darlene’s focus is on making treatment convenient for busy families. “So many D.C. families have both parents working and commuting, so we know that local parents just don't have the time to spend combing their children for hours,” she said. “And why should they? An hour in our clinic and they are lice-free and can get back to their busy lives.
The new Lice Clinics of America – Northern Virginia clinic is located at 450 West Broad Street, Suite 320 in Falls Church. The clinic is open seven days per week by appointment. The AirAllé treatment takes about an hour, and comes with a 30-day guarantee when all family members are treated or screened for head lice.
The Falls Church clinic is one of more than 150 U.S. clinics in the Lice Clinics of America network.
With clinics in more than 20 countries, Lice Clinics of America (www.LiceClinicsOfAmerica.com) is the largest network of professional head-lice-treatment centers in the world. Lice Clinics of America and AirAllé (www.airalle.com) are brands owned by Larada Sciences, Inc.
