FireMon, the industry’s leading provider of Intelligent Security Management solutions, today announced performance highlights for the first quarter of 2017 with customer retention and growth being key themes. FireMon also unveiled its vision for Intelligent Security Management, challenging customers to look at security from a new angle.
In its first three months of the year, FireMon’s new customer bookings grew by 60% year over year with 19 of the new customers added in the company’s fast-growing APAC region. Customer retention continued at greater than 90%, matching the industry-leading average for 2016. The firm credits this achievement to its focus on solving customer problems while reducing their operating expenses and risk.
“It’s clear that customers are finding value in FireMon’s innovative solutions,” said FireMon CEO Satin H. Mirchandani. “We have always been a customer-driven organization, and it’s evident in the retention and satisfaction numbers we put up each quarter. With our clear vision for a more intelligent approach to securing the networks of today and the future, I only see these numbers continue to grow in the coming months.”
To support its growing, global customer base, FireMon aggressively hired new employees across the United States, Australia, South Korea and Singapore in Q1. Part of this growth included the build out of a dedicated Customer Success Management team designed to help transition new customers from onboarding to support and work with end users to facilitate success.
“FireMon knows that proactively engaging with the end user is one of the most crucial steps to ensure a successful enterprise software deployment. The faster we can help the customer become operational the more immediate they see the return on their investment,” said Heather Surber, Vice President of Customer Success for FireMon, in her blog announcing the program. “Nothing has quite as much impact to the success of a software solution as the enabling the people responsible for using it.”
