BOSTON, Nov. 07, 2017 -- Eze Software, a global provider of investment technology, today announced that its flagship Eze Investment Suite platform has been named “Best Integrated Front-Office Platform” by Buy-Side Technology. This is the second time Eze Investment Suite has collected the honor, following a win in 2015. Additionally, the magazine commended Eze Software for “Best Use of Agile Methodology by a Technology Vendor.” The awards were announced at a ceremony in London on Nov. 3.
The front-office integration award recognizes platforms that can perform bulk management of multi-asset portfolios to the same benchmark, performing OMS and EMS functions, including modeling, analytics and compliance. The Agile methodology award requires the contender to demonstrate excellence in agile development through regular sprints, frequent releases, and close collaboration with clients.
“We are honored to be recognized as the leader in building integrated front-to-back investment workflow technology,” said Jeffrey Shoreman, President and CEO. “This recognition underscores our commitment to delivering efficient, streamlined software and service solutions that help investment managers optimize their workflows, and deliver operational alpha.”
In the last 12 months, Eze Software has focused on enhancements across Eze Investment Suite, focusing specifically on robust integration. It optimized integration between the EMS and OMS in areas such as trading, compliance and locates services, accomplished seamless OMS/Portfolio Accounting integration, and released several solutions across its product suite to help clients handle the best execution, transaction cost analysis, commission management, and trade and transaction reporting requirements of MiFID II.
The company has also focused on refining its agile development methodology. Eze Software now has a robust portfolio and program management program in place for its more than 50 scrum teams, all of which work closely with clients to advance projects. “We’re pleased to receive recognition for our agile development methodology,” said Bill Neuman, Managing Director, Product and Engineering. “We’ve developed a unique approach to scaling agile across our robust team, which provides a distinct operational advantage. We’re able to move faster and maintain the flexibility to adapt to evolving client needs, all while coordinating change across our products to heighten the cohesiveness of the platform.”
Eze Software added 218 new clients in the 12 months ending Sept. 30, 2017, across all major market regions. The number of clients using multiple applications of Eze Investment Suite grew by more than 75% to more than 330 in the last two years.
