RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Nov. 14, 2017 -- JAGGAER, a leader in indirect and direct Procure-to-Pay (P2P) spend management solutions, has been selected by Coastal Carolina University (CCU) to expand its current JAGGAER suite of Total Contract Manager and Sourcing Director with the addition of Spend Director eProcurement (ePro) and Total Supplier Manager (TSM) solutions. CCU’s mission is to streamline their procurement procedures, improve compliance, and create cost savings to further transform their procurement process.
“Adding electronic procurement platforms that integrate seamlessly with our ERP system was critical to having our business processes designed the way we needed them to perform,” said Dean P. Hudson, MBA, CPPO, Director of Procurement Services at Coastal Carolina University. “ePro fully integrates with our ERP, and JAGGAER tailored their solutions to meet our specific needs. We’re confident in JAGGAER’s ability to support CCU’s strategic plan and objectives, which include increased procedural efficiencies and improved fiscal sustainability.”
CCU’s primary objectives with ePro is to reduce the time of the overall procurement process, and to improve visibility and insight with real-time tracking of the requisition-to-purchase process and with up-to-date departmental budgetary information. CCU will utilize TSM to improve invoice-to-payment cycle times, strengthen vendor risk management procedures, and create a user-friendly electronic process for new vendors to register with CCU and for existing vendors to provide updated information.
“The economic and intellectual resources CCU provides for its community is reflected in their regional leadership status. By reducing superfluous spend against a strict budget, JAGGAER’s P2P solutions enable colleges and universities like CCU to redirect spend to growing their resources and providing the best-value education for their students,” said Robert Bonavito, CEO of JAGGAER.
