SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Dec. 20, 2017 -- Catalyst Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:CBIO), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel medicines to address hematology indications (the Company), today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 1,105,263 shares of its common stock, offered at a price of $9.50 per share to the public. The gross proceeds to the Company from this offering are expected to be approximately $10.5 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other estimated offering expenses payable by the Company. All of the shares in the offering are to be sold by the Company. The offering is expected to close on or about December 22, 2017, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
JonesTrading Institutional Services LLC and Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc. are acting as Joint Book-running Managers and LifeSci Capital LLC is acting as a Co-Manager for the proposed offering.
