Zachary W. Schulz is a dedicated educator with a strong commitment to advancing education and higher learning. He holds a PhD in History from Purdue University and an Education Specialist degree in Adult Education from Auburn University. Currently, he is expanding his expertise by pursuing a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion and Policy from the University of Missouri, with expected completion in December 2024.
Schulz's academic interests encompass the history of veterinary medicine, history of medicine, and public health policy and promotion. His versatile teaching portfolio includes traditional undergraduates, online learners, dual enrollment students, adult learners, and international students. His research is reflected in numerous publications and conference presentations, including notable studies on oral health in Alabama in collaboration with the Alabama Department of Public Health, and presentations on the state’s oral health conditions.
