Tim Birkhead is Professor of Behavioural Ecology at the University of Sheffield. He's a fellow of the Royal Society, President of the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB), and has won several awards for outstanding teaching.
His research interests include post-copulatory sexual selection, mainly in birds, population biology of birds, and
the history of science, and of reproduction and ornithology in particular.
