Lego and Target finally released colorful items for their "Lego Collection x Target" limited edition merchandise. The collaboration was first announced in October, but the actual items were only dropped this month, just in time for the holiday season.
According to Fox Business, Lego and Target released a total of 300 items during the product's launch last weekend. Some of the items that were unveiled as part of the collection include home decors, plush toys, children's and adults' apparel, items for pets, kitchenware, and wrapping paper. All items bear designs inspired by Lego's famous bricks.
Most of these items were priced below $30, and they will only be sold at Target. There are also pricey products in the Lego Collection x Target line, such as the Lego Creator Expert Gingerbread House Building Kit that has a price tag of $164.99. There is also the Art Project Kit that costs $119.99.
Coats and jackets for kids and adults have prices ranging from $35 to $60. For pet items, puffers are priced between $13.99 and $15.99, depending on size. Other items like beanies and plush toys are below $10.
"Our guests love LEGO brick sets – in fact, Target is one of the leading destinations for families when shopping for the brand," Target's executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Jill Sando, said in a press release that was posted in October. "As our guests continue to reimagine what their holiday traditions look like, our hope is that this collection will encourage them to make new memories this season and celebrate what matters most, spending time with family and friends."
As the collection is finally out in the market, People reported that the items are already selling out fast. At this point, there are products that are sold out already. This just proved that Lego was able to go beyond the blocks that it is known for around the world.
The items in the collection are perfect to be given as gifts as well, and this is another reason why the Lego Collection x Target is selling like hotcakes. Prices are affordable without sacrificing quality, so these really make great gifts for friends and loved ones.
