Dunkin' Donuts has added a new item to its menu list at the start of this year. On Wednesday, Jan. 5, the donut company announced the arrival of all-new seasonal menu items that include some beverages, a donut, omelet bites, and more.
As mentioned on BakeMag, Dunkin' Donuts' new winter menu lineup includes the Winter Blend Coffee, Brown Sugar Oat Iced Latte, Chive & Onion Stuffed Bagel Minis, Stroopwafel Donut, and the Omelet Bites.
The last item is served to customers in a tray with two pieces of omelet bites. Since this is egg-based, it is packed with protein.
This can be ordered in two options which are the Egg White & Veggie and the Bacon & Cheddar. Both kinds are served with tomato, four-cheese blend, and spinach. For Dunkin' Donuts Perks members, they can also claim a free drink when they buy any of the Omelet Bites options from Jan. 5 to Jan. 11.
As for the Chive & Onion Stuffed Bagel Minis, customers can enjoy mini bagels filled with chive cream cheese and toasted onions. It is also served in two pieces per order. Chocolate lovers will love the new Stroopwafel Donut as it is topped with chocolate frosting and mini Stroopwafel cookies that have caramel between two wafer cookies.
"Heading into the coldest winter months, we wanted to bring new flavor and excitement to one of America's favorite daily rituals – breakfast at Dunkin'," Dunkin' Donuts vice president of marketing and culinary, Jill Nelson, said in a press release. "With our new winter menu, guests can kickstart their new year and discover a new way to breakfast at Dunkin' with our new Winter Blend Coffee and protein-packed Omelet Bites."
QSR Magazine further reported that Dunkin' Donuts is also serving a $2 medium hot or cold Winter Blend Coffee starting Jan. 5. Customers can buy this drink for the said price until Feb. 1. To make the winter offering even more enjoyable, the donut company is also giving away free medium hot or cold coffee to people who will register to the DD Perks loyalty program via online or Dunkin' app from today until Feb. 22.
