Many Apple fans were not able to get their pair of AirPods Pro last holiday season. The company’s latest truly wireless earbuds were so in demand that they went out of stock on Apple stores and other retailers for some time.
Luckily, it now appears that AirPods Pro is back in stores earlier than anticipated though likely in limited quantity only. Apple made it even more special by starting a new free engraving offer that allows customers to have emojis placed on their charging cases.
AirPods Pro supplies: Are they back in stores now?
When someone opens the official AirPods Pro page on the Apple website right now customers can now proceed with ordering it directly from its maker. Though the pickup option is now live on the website, it is only available today at limited stores depending on the customer’s location. It is best to check its in-store availability through the website. People can also opt to have the $249 earbuds delivered to their chosen address, but many locations are promised an ETA of early February.
On the other hand, the AirPods Pro is now marked “in stock” on Walmart, and the store is promising an earlier delivery time than Apple within the middle of January. Other retailer websites like Target still says the device is “temporarily out of stock.”
AirPods Pro freebies: What emojis can people get engraved on their charging cases
While it might be enticing to get the AirPods Pro in other stores that promise earlier delivery, Apple launched a new offer that might make the customers weigh their options. The company has been exclusively offering free engraving on the AirPods charging cases for some years now. But it just made the offer more interesting by adding emojis to the mix.

When buying any AirPods directly from Apple, customers can now choose from the 31 selected Emojis for the free engraving offers. The selection range from the common face emojis to animal characters like the unicorn, bear, cat, monkey, or dog. Funny ones like the poop and alien emojis as well as the heart and star symbols among others.
Customers can still choose to have their names or phone numbers engraved on the AirPods charging case. However, it appears that Apple does not allow mixing emoji and text in a single engraving.
