Dr Phillippa Carnemolla is an industrial designer specialising in inclusive design. Her research investigates the breadth of health, care and social impacts resulting from inclusive design approaches, including smart cities, ageing in place and disability housing models.
In her role as Senior Research Fellow in the Ciri Research Centre at UTS, Dr Carnemolla is working on a diverse range of projects which investigate the impact of design on the lives of people in the community - including older people and people living with disability. Dr Carnemolla advises a variety of organisations on design of the built environment, social impact, engagement and service provision.
