Thaddeus Miller is an assistant professor at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society and The Polytechnic School and a Senior Sustainability Scientist at the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability at Arizona State University. His research examines how different cities reshape policies and infrastructures to respond to emerging challenges. He works with practitioners and interdisciplinary researchers to advance the ability of cities to utilize science and technology to advance urban sustainability and resilience. He is on the Executive Management Team for the National Science Foundation funded Urban Resilience to Extremes Sustainability Research Network, and co-PI of the NSF-funded STIR Cities project. He is Assistant Professor at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society and The Polytechnic School at Arizona State University. His most recent book, Reconstructing Sustainability Science: Knowledge and Action for a Sustainable Future, examines how scientists can to link knowledge to social action.
