Sameer Hasija is an Associate Professor and the Area Chair of the Technology & Operations Management area at INSEAD. He earned his Ph.D. in Operations Management and M.S. in Management Science Methods from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester and his B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Sameer is passionate about the role of emerging technologies, and how they can allow creation of business models that were previously inconceivable. His latest research is focused on understanding the economics of emerging technologies (such as IoT, AI, blockchain, robotics, 3D printing) & business models.
He often gives keynote lectures or workshops on topics related to Technology & Business Model Innovation. He has given such lectures/workshops for boards/CXOs/senior managers of numerous for-profit & governmental organisations, trade confederations, global think-tanks, & academic centers of excellence.
