I am a former journalist now teaching and undertaking research in Media Studies. My academic experience includes publications and conference presentations on digital media use in African newsrooms, as well as teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. Other experience includes co-authoring a book on the history of a Kenyan sports institution,and contributing to Internet policy discussions in the Kenyan context.
