Stephen G. Mackenzie is a postdoctoral researcher at Trinity College Dublin and Newcastle University. His research addresses transdisciplinary sustainability challenges in the food sector and how quantitative modelling and sustainability impact assessment can help address these challenges. His main focus is currently on innovations in sustainability assessment of urban food systems with the SHARECITY project. He also maintains active research into the implications of automated farming technologies and genetic changes for the sustainability of livestock systems. Stephen is a fellow of the Robert Bosch Foundation 2019 Postdococtoral Academy for Transformational Leadership.
