LOS ANGELES, Nov. 14, 2017 -- United Interiors (uiinteriors.com) has appointed DAN Nickerson, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, it was announced today by UI President Michael Cohen. With over 15 years of sales and design experience in commercial interiors, high end residential, hospitality and European and American furniture, DAN Nickerson is active in the Los Angeles design community, serving for four years, as Co-Creative Director of IIDA Southern California’s L.A. City Center Haunt Couture. He is also a member of IFMA, has a degree in Interior Design from New York School of Interior Design, and a degree in Music Theory from Johns Hopkins Peabody Conservatory.
UI President Michael Cohen said, “DAN Nickerson’s credentials in design and his proven sales ability is a perfect fit for the expanding United Interiors. We have recently merged with Justin Enderton’s Costa-Mesa-based en4ofrm, giving DAN and his staff an increasing portfolio.” DAN Nickerson remarked, “We are intensely client focused at United Interiors. Prior to his design career, DAN performed on Broadway in the Tony Award winning musical, “Anything Goes,” with Patti Lupone. He has also traveled the globe performing in New York, London and Paris and spent two years in Tokyo, as the host of MTV Japan. DAN was also part of the corporate training group for the Merrill Lynch Team Building Program held in Puerto Rico. Also, with 6 years in the health club industry, DAN rose from part-time reception to General Manager for Manhattan Plaza Health Club, where he was instrumental in introducing the “Mind, Body, Spirit” program, infusing nutrition and meditation with fitness.
United Interiors, a Kimball Select Dealer, has offices in Irvine, Woodland Hills and is currently planning a showroom at the Biltmore Hotel, in Downtown L.A. and has recently merged with En4orm, also a Kimball Dealer, located in Costa Mesa.
