DENVER, Nov. 07, 2017 -- Video ad serving platform SpotX today announced that PCH/Media, the digital arm of Publishers Clearing House, has selected SpotX to provide programmatic infrastructure and ad serving across its primary desktop properties.
Rather than relying on cookies to draw inferences about their audience, PCH leverages first-party user registration data which gives them a unique level of insight into each individual impression. By leveraging SpotX’s ad serving platform, PCH/Media (PCH) will be able to deploy the full gamut of direct and programmatic sales techniques to monetize desktop inventory in transactions enhanced by industry-leading audience data.
“Our user registration process makes it possible for advertisers to leverage true identity data to improve the relevance and effectiveness of every ad served,” said Spencer Scott, Head of Media Platforms, PCH/Media. “SpotX’s platform will allow us to make our high-performing inventory available to new sources of programmatic demand, improving outcomes on both sides of the transaction.”
In addition to powering transactions through private and Curated Marketplaces, SpotX will also provide mediation for PCH’s own direct-sold deals. Through this partnership, PCH can leverage SpotX’s dedicated Demand Facilitation team which has already helped structure hundreds of deals and assisted in fostering relationships with a host of new DSPs.
“We’re thrilled to provide advanced ad serving capabilities to make PCH’s unique audience segments available programmatically,” said Ryan Kenney, VP, Platform Services at SpotX. “Our suite of monetization tools will increase efficiencies in the buying process, allowing PCH to realize maximum returns on their high-viewability inventory.”
