Albany, NY, May 10, 2017 -- You have to shop, so why not earn rewards for doing so? That’s where NutriSavings™ comes in.

CDPHP members can earn up to $400 annually just for shopping healthy.* By registering their stores’ loyalty cards through NutriSavings, participants have the opportunity to earn rewards every time they scan their cards. In addition to financial incentives, members get recipe ideas and tips on how to shop healthier through the easy-to-use program.
Members can track their shopping habits through the NutriSavings app or website. With the app, participants can scan items or search the food catalog while they shop. Email alerts let participants know how their trip “scored” – the higher the score, the healthier the items. NutriSavings suggests healthier alternatives for lower-scoring products. The program works at retailers nationwide.
NutriSavings works in conjunction with CDPHP Life Points®, a program that allows eligible members to earn points for their healthy habits and cash them in for retail gift cards, which can then be used toward health and wellness items. In addition, NutriSavings provides its own cash back offers, as well as weekly savings on select items.
“Personalized education in helping CDPHP members identify healthy food using the NutriSavings score along with making healthy food affordable are two quick ways for nudging behavior change,” said Niraj Jetly, COO for NutriSavings.
CDPHP teamed up with NutriSavings after getting direct feedback from members on their shopping habits.
*Adults (18 or older) in select CDPHP plans are eligible. Additional incentives are available through NutriSavings and are not part of the Life Points program. Medicaid and Medicare members are not eligible.
