Samsung is highly expected to unveil the Galaxy S23 lineup in a few weeks, so it is not surprising that more leaks are appearing online amid the holidays. More recently, some alleged promotional images have emerged that may have revealed the signature colors for the upcoming smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S23 alleged promo renders
While the company offers various color options for its new flagship phones every year, each model typically appears in one prominent color in marketing images. That is what reports often refer to as the device’s signature color. And that particular detail appears to have been revealed in the latest Galaxy S23 leak.
Several official-looking promo images were shared by 91Mobiles, but they only focus on the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The former’s signature color is reportedly a shade of pink, while the latter is expected to often appear in green. The regular Galaxy S23 is not included in this round of leaked renders, but the report claimed its signature color will be similar to the Galaxy S23+.
The images also reiterate the rumored design for the Galaxy S23 models. The Ultra is expected to look the same, but the regular and Galaxy S23+ are anticipated to adopt the same rear camera design as the high-end model.
Samsung Galaxy S23 rumored specs
The Galaxy S23 being the subject of many leaks is not a surprise, but most of its official technical specifications remain under wraps. But some of the rumored specs were recently reported by leaker Ahmed Qwaider (via SamMobile). It is claimed that all models' displays will support up to 1750 nits brightness, which represents a notable upgrade for the regular phone.
While the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s battery capacity is reportedly the same as its predecessor, the other models are rumored to gain a 200mAh boost. The same source said the base Galaxy S23 will have 3900mAh and the Galaxy S23+ will ship with 4700mAh batteries. Another anticipated upgrade across the series is in the cooling system.
Last week, several well-known leakers said that Samsung is planning to hold the Unpacked event for the Galaxy S23 series on Feb. 1, 2023.
