BURKE, Va., Jan. 09, 2018 -- Primary Eyecare Associates announces an addition to their team of optometrists--Dr. Lori Butler. A graduate of the Ohio State University College of Optometry, Dr. Butler specializes in contact lens examinations and fittings and vision care for all ages. Primary Eyecare Associates warmly welcomes Dr. Butler to their practice and invites all of Dr. Butler's patients from the Fair Lakes, Virginia area to join her at her new location in Burke VA.
Introducing Dr. Lori Butler
After graduating Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors) with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of South Dakota, Dr. Butler then earned her doctorate degree in optometry from Ohio State University College of Optometry. She then completed an optometric residency sponsored by The New England College of Optometry at Capital Eye Consultants, a secondary eye care referral center in Fairfax, Va. Dr. Butler has made Northern Virginia her home for over 20 years and when she isn't caring for her patients' vision and eye health, she can be found biking, hiking, traveling, playing piano and spending time with family and friends.
When asked why she chose the field of optometry to pursue, Dr. Butler answered: "The eyes are amazingly complex and fascinating", giving us the ability to view the world three-dimensionally and in full color. Making sure my patients enjoy healthy eyes and the best vision possible is my main objective as an optometrist at Primary Eyecare Associates".
