Park Shin Hye is back to work with her new drama titled “Sisyphus: The Myth.” This is her next project after completing her film “#ALONE” with Yoo Ah In.

The actress confirmed that she accepted the role for this JTBC drama when she thanked Lee Sung Kyung for sending a coffee truck to the filming set. On July 14, via Instagram, Park Shin Hye uploaded a photo of herself posing in front of her former “Doctors” co-star’s gift to show her support.

Shin Hye’s message of thanks to her friend

The 30-year-old actress captioned the photo with her own message of thanks to Lee Sung Kyung. “Even before we started filming, Lee Sung Kyung supported me through prayer and now she’s sent a coffee truck!” Shin Hye wrote. “Your support has even gotten the rain the stop, right?”

As can be seen in the banner that was put up in front of the coffee truck, Lee Sung Kyung who is also popularly known as Kim Bok Joo in “Weightlifting Fairy,” also sent her support to Sung Dong Il who is apparently also part of the cast. The model/actress also mentioned Cho Seung Woo, Tae In Ho and the rest of the cast and crew who are all busy filming “Sisyphus: The Myth.”

What is Shin Hye’s new drama is about

Late last year, OSEN reported that Park Shin Hye was the top choice to be the lead actress in "Sisyphus: The Myth" and it was only confirmed now that she accepted the role. This will be directed by Jin Hyuk who also helmed other popular dramas such as “Legends of the Blue Sea,” “City Hunter” and “Doctor Stranger.”

The actress will act opposite Cho Seung Woo and aside from the cast members mentioned above, Chae Jong Hyeop and Kim Jong Moon are also starring in this sci-fi drama. Apparently, filming is ongoing now despite the coronavirus crisis. The plot of this drama is still unknown.

Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye is still fresh from the success of her movie “#ALIVE.” People are still very cautious about going out since the COVID-19 virus is still out there. This is why the actress and Yoo Ah In are very thankful to all the moviegoers who supported their film despite the situation.
