Black Friday is one of the best times to buy video game items for personal use and holiday gifts. Luckily for Nintendo fans, some of the biggest stores in the United States have already confirmed some discounts and bundle sales for Nintendo Switch later this month.
There are several factors to consider when planning for a Black Friday haul, such as the stores’ proximity and the time at which they open on Thanksgiving Day and the following day. Those who are looking forward to getting a Nintendo Switch unit for a lower price, here are the stores that already confirmed they have supplies of the hybrid portable console.
Nintendo Switch: What store offers the best Black Friday deals?
The general Nintendo Switch offer for Black Friday is a bundle of one unit of the console, a copy of the “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe,” and a free screen protector for $299.99 only. On a regular day, all these items would amount to around $370. Best Buy, Target, and Walmart are some of the stores that included this offer to its respective Black Friday brochures.
Nintendo Switch accessories and controllers are also getting price cuts on Black Friday. Target and Best Buy will both offer Joy-Con controllers with a $20 discount. Best Buy has already confirmed that other items like the Dock Kit, Joy-Con charging stations, console cases, on-the-go charging kits will be sold at 20 to 50 percent discounts.
Nintendo Switch games get major price cuts on Black Friday
The Nintendo Switch Black Friday sales also extend to the games for the portable console. Games like “The Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild,” “Splatoon 2,” “Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy,” “Rocket League,” and “LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2” will be available at $20 off its regular price on Best Buy.
The same store will discount other Nintendo Switch games for $15 off. The list includes “Overwatch” Legendary Edition, “Diablo 3: Eternal Collection,” “Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch,” “Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age,” and “Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remastered.”
Black Friday does not happen until Nov. 29, so there is a chance for more stores to announce Nintendo Switch offers as the date comes closer. Also, it would help to check online stores for pre-Black Friday promos regularly and if the Nintendo Switch items will be available online to enjoy a hassle-free Black Friday shopping.
