Deku just unlocked a new Quirk when the manga announced it is going on a break. The extra time to wait could be worth it, though, considering that Deku’s milestone also happened just as Gigantomachia and the other members of the League of Villains are making their way to reunite with Shigaraki.

‘My Hero Academia’ chapter 284 release date

“My Hero Academia” chapter 284 will not be included in the upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Jump on Sunday because, as mentioned, the series is having its routine break every once in a while. On the bright side, fans do not have to wait through another full week for its release. Instead of arriving on a Sunday, the next chapter is currently scheduled to be released on Friday, Sept. 18.

‘My Hero Academia’ chapter 284 spoilers, plot predictions

There is a very good chance for “My Hero Academia” chapter 284 to feature where Gigantomachia is headed next. His destination is to reach Shigaraki in the fastest route possible. This explains the havoc he has caused to all the cities he passed by in the previous chapter. Gigantomachia also has the members of the League of Villains with him, and they left the UA students quite demoralized after seeing that the sedative did not seem to work on the giant creature.

With virtually no one to stop Gigantomachia, it is possible to see him finally reach Shigaraki in “My Hero Academia” chapter 284, at least before the installment ends. As fans pointed out on Reddit, it appears that the League of Villains is still a few more cities away from where the battlefield is.

Meanwhile, the arrival of Gigantomachia and the League of Villains in “My Hero Academia” chapter 284 (or in the future installments) would be a perfect timing now that Deku has acquired Nana’s Float Quirk. This makes it less likely for Deku to overwhelm Shigaraki easily, and it should be noted that the latter’s body formation has yet to reach its full capacity. Chapter 283 showed its completion status was still at 75%.

‘My Hero Academia’ chapter 284 where to read

Leaks and other forms of spoilers usually emerge online within three days before the release of “My Hero Academia” chapter 284. Then, the official English-translated copy of the chapter will be released for free on Viz’ Shonen Jump page and Manga Plus.
