VONORE, Tenn., Jan. 09, 2018 -- MasterCraft Boat Company (NASDAQ:MCFT) today introduced the new XT25, its largest multi-purpose crossover boat. Capping the high end of MasterCraft’s do-everything XT crossover boat line, the 25-foot XT25 goes big not just in all-around towboat performance, but in its capacity to host a big party on the water. MasterCraft’s XT series boats continue to set the industry standard in premium features and performance for all towboat activities at a more approachable price.

Completing XT series lineup as its fifth and largest addition, the XT25 welcomes a crew of up to 18 with a traditional bow and new interior layout offering more rear-facing seating than ever before, enhancing socialization and wake action spectating. The XT25’s two new rear-facing seat designs include a standard flip-up rear facing seat that can convert into a bench seat and an optional starboard pull-up, rear-facing seat with a raising backrest that also converts into a bench seat.
The new crossover hull bottom on the XT25 delivers a wake shape for everyone, from huge wakeboard wakes, to massive customizable surf waves and smooth slalom skiing. Like all MasterCraft boats, the optional award-winning Gen 2 Surf System has been custom designed for the XT25’s new crossover hull, creating three zones of perfectly sculpted lips and sizeable curling surf waves. The Gen 2 Surf System combined with up to 2,800 lbs. of ballast optimize and amplify the wake to new levels. The XT25 can be outfitted with MasterCraft’s revolutionary Dockstar Handling System, an innovative flanking rudder system.
Part of MasterCraft’s 2018 lineup, the XT25 is equipped with the company’s latest model year features as either standard equipment, or paired as optional upgrades. MasterCraft exclusive Klipsch Audio comes standard in the XT25, creating concert-level sound for the entire crew. The XT25 comes standard with a 4.5” Touch Screen Dash with the option to upgrade to MasterCraft’s revolutionary Dual-Screen Dash that simplifies and enhances the on-board experience with technology that tunes the boat’s operations to three usage modes. The Dual-Screen Dash improves helm styling and ergonomics, integrates with consumer technology devices and provides important diagnostic information, navigation and tutorial videos. The Dual-Screen Dash and Klipsch Audio System when combined in the XT25’s Premium Audio package have operating modes that also control the premium audio output.
The XT25 is equipped with the easy-folding, gas shock assisted ZFT2 tower while the ZFT4 or customizable ZFT7 Power Tower are upgrade options. Premium tower upgrades offer countless custom colors, speaker layouts and vertical storage options.
The XT25 is powered by the latest General Motors engines marinized exclusively for MasterCraft by Ilmor Marine, including its standard powerplant, the Ilmor 5.3L gasoline direct injection V8 engine (5500 GDI V8). Two Ilmor Gen Five gasoline direct injection V8 motor options are available, including the 6000 GDI V8 (6.2L) or the 7000 MPI V8 (7.4L).
Like all MasterCraft boats, the XT25 comes with the best warranty on the water, the five year MasterCare protection plan. Hand-built by “Master Craftsmen” in the company’s U.S.-based manufacturing facility in Vonore, TN, MasterCraft boats are constructed with quality and reliability in mind resulting in the highest resale values in the industry.
