GREENVILLE, S.C., April 06, 2017 -- eRAD announced today that it has successfully deployed its imaging workflow technology at Landmark Cancer Center in Muskogee, Okla.
eRAD is a leading provider of standards-based, web-centric radiology image and data management solutions. It is the information technology division of RadNet, Inc., the largest imaging center network in the U.S.
Landmark Cancer Centers has locations in multiple states, including the site in Muskogee, and provides comprehensive cancer treatment services to patients using state-of-the-art techniques and medications.
eRAD successfully deployed its PACS and EHR-Certified RIS, as well as its Native Speech Recognition and Insurance Eligibility & Verification module. “Imaging is a key part of the services we provide,” said Tim Hash, manager of Landmark in Muskogee. “It is of course crucial for treatment plans, and also helps continuity of care with referring physicians. We needed a consistent, streamlined solution, without having to integrate disjointed workflow components. eRAD helped us gain that efficiency.”
One example of Landmark’s efficiency gain is the Insurance Eligibility & Verification module, which integrated seamlessly with its EHR-Certified RIS. Rather than waiting for patients’ insurance details or searching multiple websites to capture data that may be outdated, Landmark’s staff can get accurate information in one click. They know instantly if a patient is covered—and the coverage, co-pay, deductible, deductible met and co-insurance.
Seth Koeppel, Senior VP of Sales at eRAD, said, “We are excited to showcase our radiology solution at a site that is also focused on cancer care. This demonstrates the flexibility of the eRAD solution. We serve customers’ workflows rather than boxing them into a vendor specific model.”
