Hulett Environmental Services Partners with Back to Basics Angel Program

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Dec. 27, 2017 -- Everyone at Hulett Environmental Services is getting in the holiday spirit! We have partnered with the local group, Back to Basics Angel Program. Back to Basics is a volunteer organization with 100% of the money raised going directly to the programs. The group was founded by Beverly Perham and works to give the “basics” to over 7,000 children in need throughout South Florida. Their mission is to raise children’s self-esteem, keep kids in school, enable self-sufficiency and invest in our future by providing new uniforms, sneakers, socks and underwear. These items are luxuries for many families; a new uniform gives a child the confidence to go to school and be ready to learn. During the holidays, the group also works hard to gather donations to give a toy to each child. Schools and community agencies provide names and sizes of needy children; this information is printed on “Angel Cards” which are given to area businesses, churches, clubs, and individuals who will then purchase and wrap new sneakers, socks, underwear and a toy for the children.

Hulett’s team has set up a tree with “Angel Cards” and our employees have chosen angels from the tree to surprise for the holidays. At Hulett, family comes first, and we know that during the holidays, everyone is extra busy but we’re not too busy to think of the youngest members of our community.
