ITASCA, Ill., Feb. 13, 2018 -- First Midwest Bank announced today the appointment of James V. Stadler as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. In this newly-created role, Stadler will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, communications and public relations activities to enhance the client experience, deepen their relationship with our brand, and drive revenue growth.
Stadler’s career spans more than 30 years, most recently as a Managing Partner of advertising agency Schafer Condon Carter, where he helped create the strategic vision for the agency, was responsible for business development, and managed several relationships with Fortune 100 companies. Previously, he served in leadership positions at DDB Worldwide and McDonald’s Corporation, and began his career in sales and marketing at Kimberly Clark.

Stadler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Southern Methodist University. He is a board member of The First Tee of Greater Chicago, and is active in several local and national professional organizations.
