Huntersville, NC, Jan. 09, 2018 -- Already known the world’s premier manufacturer of high performance doctor blades, Daetwyler has recently announced a deal that will make top quality anilox rollers available to U.S. and Canadian printers. The new partnership is with Zecher - the leading European manufacturer of anilox rollers, with a reputation for exceptional durability and print results. Daetwyler will now be a distribution partner for Zecher anilox products in the U.S. and Canada. Both companies will still continue to operate independently in their core markets.
“When it comes to exacting print performance, doctor blades are only part of the equation,” said Kurt Oegerli, Managing Director for Daetwyler USA’s Graphic Arts Division. “Daetwyler’s blades can optimize ink usage and consistency across a print run, but if there are problems with the anilox roller, there’s only so much a blade can do. By partnering with Zecher, we’ll be able to offer our clients a complete print-quality solution, when necessary, all backed by the same passion for excellence our clients have come to expect.”
“As a high-quality pressroom product provider with strong technical sales expertise, Daetwyler will further strengthen its reputation as an ink transfer specialist by offering high-quality Anilox Roller,” added Daetwyler USA CEO, Roger Heid. “This will allow us to utilize synergies with our existing products.”
Zecher shares Heid’s outlook on the new partnership. Thomas Reinking, Director Sales and Marketing with Zecher, explained. “Perfection in printing is the result of several components all working at peak performance, which means a commitment to quality in all aspects of manufacturing. Daetwyler not only shares our desire to create products that are the best in class - but also believes strongly in cooperative ways we can grow our businesses together.”
With its strong Western Hemisphere presence and track record of superior customer service that goes back more than 40 years, Daetwyler was uniquely positioned to expand Zecher’s international market while also enhancing its own service offering. Daetwyler has also offered solutions by other leading OEM’s for cleaning and solvent recovery, and remains on the lookout for more ways to improve efficiency, output, and profitability for the professional printing and coatings markets it serves.
