LONDON, March 30, 2017 -- ZeptoLab, creators of the hit mobile games, Cut the Rope and King of Thieves, today announced their new original title — C.A.T.S.: Crash Arena Turbo Stars, coming soon to iOS and Android. In this free-to-play multiplayer game, players will build and customize battle cars and go head-to-head, working their way to the top of the leaderboard, while taking the roles of street cats.
C.A.T.S. will be available for free on iOS and Google Play in April.

“We love to mix different genres, experiment with game mechanics and themes. C.A.T.S. is a perfect example of this approach. It’s fun, innovative and cute — exactly what you would expect from a ZeptoLab game,” said Creative Director, Semyon Voinov. “As kids, many of us loved building tanks and battle cars from the stuff in our backyards to create epic toy battles, so we thought — why not turn it into a mobile game? And to make things even more fun, we decided to man our bots with cute (but highly competitive!) kittens. Who doesn’t like machines, explosions and cats?”
Future Crash Arena stars start their journey with the simple wooden car, which they can later upgrade with an arsenal of deadly hand-made weapons and gadgets — from drills and chainsaws to soda pop bottles. Players compete against each other in similar ranking groups; those on top of the leaderboard move into the next stage. As they crush the competitors and progress through the stages, upgraded materials and new skills become available. The goal is to reach the highest league — Crash Arena — and fight to become its champion.
“We’ve tested the game in some countries, and C.A.T.S. showed great results during the soft launch phase,” says ZeptoLab CEO, Misha Lyalin. “Not only was the game well received by players, it also became very viral — people told their friends about it and brought them in. We are very excited about this release and hope that the rest of the world will find C.A.T.S. as fun and compelling as soft launch players did.”
C.A.T.S.: Crash Arena Turbo Stars is set to release for free this April on iOS and Google Play.
