BROOKLYN, N.Y., May 31, 2017 -- The Kings County Public Administrator’s Office is having a Real Estate auction of thirteen properties located in Brooklyn, N.Y. and Greenlawn, Long Island. The auction is to be held on June 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kings County Supreme Court building located at 360 Adams Street, Room 224, Brooklyn NY 11201.
This is a unique opportunity to bid on properties in some of the most desirable neighborhoods in Brooklyn. When there is little or no competition for a specific property, a bidder can obtain a property at the upset auction price, which may be advantageous for the purchaser.
The properties offered are one to three family residences and two SRO’s in Brooklyn, and a single family house in Suffolk County. The Brooklyn properties are located in a wide range of neighborhoods, from Bedford Stuyvesant to Sheepshead Bay.
All bidders must pre-register prior to the auction and obtain a bidding paddle number to qualify to bid on a property. Pre-registration shall commence at 11:30 a.m. outside of the Kings County Public Administrator’s office, also located in the Kings County Supreme Court Building at 360 Adams Street, Room 144, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
Open houses for some of the properties will take place on Saturday, June 3rd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. an on Sunday, June 4th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Information about the properties, registering for the auction, and terms and conditions can be found at the Kings County Public Administrator’s Website: WWW.NYC.GOV/KCPA or by calling (718) 643-3032.
