Team 7 now has a new mission after they failed on the latest one. Upon realizing Mitsuki could be in danger, Boruto and the rest of the group worked quickly to find a solution. This has led them to explore a lawless Land of Silence that will be the focus of “Boruto” episode 160.

‘Boruto’ episode 160 spoilers

Any avid fan of the “Naruto” universe is familiar with the Hashirama Cell, and it turned out to be one of the causes of Mitsuki’s illness. Team 7 needs to get to the bottom of this by having to figure out where the cells are being sold. This investigation leads them to the black market in Land of Silence in “Boruto” episode 160.

An earlier blurb for “Boruto” episode 160, as translated by OrganicDinosaur, described the country as a “lawless area” and an “extremely dangerous area.” The search leads Boruto and the rest of the team to a ruffian shopkeeper where he has to fight a bouncer guarding the place.

The brief “Boruto” episode 160 video teaser provides a glimpse of this fight showing that the said bouncers’ have very large builds and do not seem fazed with the idea of hurting a small and young ninja such as Boruto. On the bright side, Boruto appears to have no idea fighting them and the same blurb also implies the titular protagonist will emerge victorious from the combat. Ultimately, they will be able to get pertinent information from the shopkeeper.

Reading through the summaries of the episodes after “Boruto” episode 160, it will show fans that Mitsuki’s illness is not getting healed quickly. The team of ninjas from Konoha will also be spending more time in Land of Silence beyond episode 160.

‘Boruto’ episode 160 release date, where to watch

“Boruto” episode 160 will be released on Sunday, Aug. 9 and originally airs on TV Tokyo. Fans outside Japan can watch its simulcast through streaming platforms Crunchyroll and Hulu with English subtitles.

Some may be wondering if the “Boruto” episode 160 is another filler. While it does not rigidly follow events from the manga, this is already part of the anime’s Kara actuation story arc making it a canon episode. The anime is changing some details just like the introduction of an anime-only character and member of Kara named Deepa in the upcoming episodes.
