SAN RAMON, Calif., Dec. 20, 2017 -- Armanino LLP, a top 25 accounting and business consulting firm, today announced its service organization control (SOC) readiness assessments and assurance services meet the rigorous requirements of the Microsoft Supplier Security and Privacy Assurance (SSPA) Program.
The Microsoft SSPA initiative is designed to standardize and strengthen the handling of Microsoft customer, partner and employee personal information by Microsoft vendors worldwide. Microsoft vendors who collect, store or process customer, partner or employee personal information are required to comply with the program.
“Cybersecurity is a hot topic for a good reason; it’s a real-world issue that we work with our clients on every day to ensure they’re protected,” said Liam Collins, partner and head of Armanino’s SOC assurance practice. “As we continue to enhance our SOC offerings, ensuring we meet Microsoft SSPA reinforces our dedication to risk management and data security for our Microsoft clients.”
In addition to meeting the requirements of this program, Armanino is certified through The Santa Fe Group’s Shared Assessments Program and joined the HITRUST Alliance to reinforce its dedication to safeguarding health information and managing information risk in the healthcare sector.
