LOS ANGELES, Jan. 09, 2018 -- Versa Products, Inc., America’s leading manufacturer for electric-lift standing desk solutions, saw the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as an opportunity to invest over $1 million in new machinery after having experienced their largest growth year to date in 2017. The increased consumer and business demand is predicted to continue in 2018 across all Versa brands and the new business tax reform allows Versa Products to make necessary investments in technology and expand their team accordingly.
The L.A.-based ergonomic furniture company designs and assembles electric sit-to-stand desks and desktop converters like the Zero Gravity Tables and VersaDesk Power Series. These flagship products are then sold on the company’s well-known eCommerce properties such as VersaDesk.com and VersaTables.com, in addition to third-party retailers.
Investments in high-speed laser machines and a progressive backend infrastructure will maximize the company’s scalability in terms of e.g. production planning, supply chain and inventory management, and accounting. “The sit-to-stand desks and desktop converters market continues to grow which is why the opportunities being afforded to us are exciting,” says Chris Laudadio, CEO. “These investments allow us to remain at the forefront of the ergonomic furniture industry.”
In addition to investments in manufacturing, Versa Products is continuing to expand their presence in the digital space, as well as product design and development. “Investments in machines and technology are important for Versa’s growth, but building the right team is key in utilizing our new tools to fullest,” says Laudadio.
