CORONA, Calif., April 02, 2018 -- Acology Inc. (OTCMARKETS:ACOL) released its 2017 10K report today, highlighted by steady growth and proportionately lowered operating expenses.
In terms of the bottom line, investors should be pleased to note that Acology continues to grow steadily year by year. Even as the sharp market increases seen earlier in the year have drifted back, Acology continues to maintain its position and continues to do well in several cannabis sectors.
Among the many positive declarations made in the document is the company’s assertion that the cost of sales will continue to decrease as their over-all sales volume increases. Gross sales are up over 10% from last year and have grown steadily year over year. Interest expense continues to steadily decrease due to Acology retiring several outstanding loans in 2017. Advertising costs were lowered without affecting sales growth, attributable to the fact that more in-house campaigns were successfully created and executed.
Expenses, although slightly increased over the last year, continue to be manageable and include the addition of the MedX Two-Way Humidifier Trademark acquisition. This was an important milestone for the company since humidity packs, manufactured, branded and sold in several sizes, accounted for 19% of sales last year. Although the cost of goods-sold rose slightly, management attributes this to the addition of new products to the sales line.
Several large projects loom on the horizon for Acology, including expansion of its Canadian business and a substantial increase in its operational footprint this year. Acology is confident that its global market will continue to steadily grow for the rest of this year and well into the future.
