Washington, D.C., Jan. 24, 2018 -- Ambassador John Bolton announced today that he will endorse Pennsylvania State Representative Rick Saccone in the March special election for Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District. In addition, the John Bolton PAC will contribute $5,000 to Saccone’s campaign. This is an important race for Republicans, who are looking for momentum ahead of what might be a challenging mid-term election cycle.

“State Representative Rick Saccone has had a distinguished military career, with years of experience as a counter-intelligence officer in South Korea, where he defended against commandos and espionage from North Korea, and in Iraq, where he identified, captured, and interrogated insurgents,” said Ambassador Bolton. “With the growing threats of rogue regimes like North Korea and Iran, America needs individuals like Mr. Saccone – with his unique global perspective and experience – serving in Congress. With this announcement, Ambassador Bolton has endorsed 24 candidates for U.S. Congress and the John Bolton PAC has contributed a collective $235,000 in the 2018 election cycle. For the 2016 election cycle, the John Bolton PAC contributed a total of $680,000 and endorsed 94 candidates, making it the most active leadership PAC in the country, and earning the PAC numerous industry awards.
