I graduated from the University of Worcester in 2019 after submitting a thesis on documentaries of the financial crash. I'm interested in how narratives and aesthetics reflect social and political histories and are often used as visual shorthand to connect to social problems in the present.
Presently, I teach Film and Television at the University of Bristol. My most recent publication is on narrative and aesthetics in Making a Murder (Netflix) for the journal Crime Fiction Studies.
