Samuel Appiah Darko alias Sammy Darko is a lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology and Communications Studies (FITCS) of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). He is also an associate of UPSA School of Law. He has been teaching and researching into media law, public interest journalism and gender, security & intelligence studies since 2016. Before entering academia, he served for a decade as a reporter working for both foreign and local media organisations including the BBC for whom he worked as World Service Correspondent for Ghana.
