International Research Scholar of Geography, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Judith is currently an international research scholar at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. She is also a member of the graduate program "Authority and Trust in American Culture, Society, History, and Politics" at the Heidelberg Center for American Studies and the Geographies of North America working group at Heidelberg University, Germany. Her qualitative research looks at the US-American housing crisis from below, focusing on the experiences of people on the ground. Judith's approach to urban studies is very much informed by a social justice agenda and the right to the city movement.
