Dr. Gavin Brent Sullivan is a Reader in Identity and Resilience in Communities and Organisations at Coventry University’s Centre for Research in Psychology, Behaviour and Achievement. His latest edited book “Understanding collective pride and emotions of group identity” has just been published by Routledge Press.
Gavin’s early work in psychology was as a theoretical, philosophical and critical psychologist with a strong interest in Wittgenstein’s philosophy, Vygotsky’s psychology, discursive psychology and defensible forms of social constructionism. He has subsequently published theoretical and research articles on such topics as self and borderline personality disorder, psychotherapy and language/conversation, qualitative research methods, qualitative health
