Francesca Scala is a public policy scholar in the Department of Political Science at Concordia University. She has written on topics related to gender and public policy, citizen engagement, and the politics of expertise in public policy. She is currently working on a SSHRC-funded study on the gendered dimensions of work-care reconciliation programs in Canada. She is also collaborating with Dr. Stephanie Paterson on a SSHRC-funded research project investigating Gender-Based Analysis in Canada. She is currently serving as Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Concordia University.
