Wendy’s is reportedly testing three new flavors for its famous Frosty dessert, and these are currently available in one state in the U.S. To be more specific, the new Frostys are now being sold in select Wendy’s stores in Ohio.
As per ChewBoom, the new Frosty desserts being tested are Classic Strawberry Frosty, Marshmallow Charms Frosty Sundae, and Chocolate Lovers Frosty Sundae.
The Classic Strawberry is a sundae with sprinkles, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream. Customers can choose either chocolate or vanilla for the soft-serve ice cream. For the Marshmallow Charms Frosty, there is also the option for vanilla or chocolate and this is topped with Lucky Charms marshmallows, whipped cream, and Ghirardelli sea salt caramel sauce.
Lastly, the Chocolate Lovers is literally for those who love chocolate. It consists of vanilla or chocolate Frosty and is completed with bits of Oreo cookies, whipped cream, and Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce.
It was noted that the flavored Frosty Sundae was first introduced at Wendy’s in 2019 and the Frosty Cookie sundae was released for a limited time. Later in 2020, it has returned to the menu and now it is returning with brand-new delectable flavors.
As mentioned earlier, the three new Wendy’s Frosty is being trialed in Ohio and it is no coincidence that the fast-food is headquartered in this same state. MSN News reported that the trial run is being held in three Wendy’s outlets and here are their exact locations: 3040 Northwest Boulevard, Upper Arlington, 43221; 1100 Dublin Road, Columbus, 43215; and 6195 Glick Road, Dublin, 43065.
Currently, Wendy’s is offering three Frosty desserts and they are permanent on the menu. These are the chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors.
This will be Wendy’s next batch of releases for new Frosty’s since the Frosty Cookie Sundae that was introduced almost three years ago. For the new flavors, the fast-food chain is once again teaming up with Ghirardelli for creamy chocolate sauce. It has yet to be announced if the three new Frostys would make it to the menu later on but there is a high possibility they will be added to the menu for a limited time.
